Here lieth the Body of Hannah daughter of Thomas and El Wardle was inter March 17th 1728. A previous survey indicates that Thomas' wife was called Elizabeth and the inscription continues: 'also Hannah daughter of the above was interred March 10th 1730 also Elizabeth wife of Thomas Wardle of Slate House was interred October 6th 1768 aged 71 years' |
